The professional figure knows the composition and characteristics of precious metals and repair systems. They interpret and carry out the design of the item to be treated.

The achievement of the qualification is essential for working as a self-employed professional and for employment in companies in the sector.

TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

CORE MODULES:

  • Promotion of equal opportunities conditions in the workplace and relevant regulations

  • Introduction to ecology and the environment, sustainable development, and any relevant sector-specific regulations

  • IT and web: theoretical knowledge and practical use of tools

  • Prevention and protection standards in the workplace (Legislative Decree 626/94 and subsequent amendments and additions)

  • Introduction to regulations on workers' rights and duties, including reference to the methods and characteristics of standard and atypical contracts. Collective bargaining

  • Introduction to the current tax system

  • Introduction to project financing: incentive laws, structural funds, self-employment

  • History and tradition of precious metals in Italy and Europe

  • Characteristics and styles of local workmanship

  • Fundamentals of physics and chemistry

  • Precious metals and alloys: characteristics and properties, processing techniques, casting, engraving

  • Execution, reading and interpretation of technical and artistic drawings

  • Planning the repair phases of the item and intervention methods

  • Preparation of materials and use of work tools
