Supervisors and Managers in Safety Matters
The course is based on the provisions established by Art. 36 of Legislative Decree 81/08, 106/09, and by the State-Regions Agreement of 22/02/2012.
The course is intended for supervisors and managers: shift supervisors, department heads, coordinators, office heads. It provides an overview of the main risks in the work environment, with particular attention to all aspects related to the specific functions of supervisors and managers.
The course content is as follows:

specification of duties;

the roles of supervisor and manager within the company;

risk assessment and the risk assessment document;

risk factors;
-
in-depth analysis of the main risk factors;

construction sites and safety signage;
-
handling of loads;
-
display screen equipment;
-
physical agents - noise;
-
vibrations, electromagnetic fields, chemical agents, biological agents, explosive atmospheres;
-
fire prevention.
N.B. Anyone assuming the role of supervisor, in addition to the safety training for workers, must complete an additional 8-hour safety training course for supervisors, as they hold a position of authority over others. Anyone assuming the role of manager must complete a 16-hour safety training pathway for managers.
UPDATES
Updates are required every five years for both supervisors and managers, for a total duration of 6 hours, and concern health and safety at work topics, with particular reference to new regulations.
